Great Falls, Montana pre-rendezvous

As many of you know, Spence and I and Ken and Carole Adams are once again taking 20 lucky RV's on an escorted RV caravan tour to Canada and Alaska for 58 days. Beginning June 8, 2011, this will be the "trip of a lifetime" for these travelers. Our goal is to make it the best experience for them.

We arrived in Great Falls, Montana today (the rendezvous point) to drizzling rain and wind.  We understand this will clear up tomorrow.  As we arrived in Dick's RV Park to check in, we saw that our Wagonmasters were already here.

We had left our motorhome at Fleet Maintenance Service for some routine maintenance and had driven our car over to the park.  We visited with Ken and Carole, who also had another staff visitor, John Lastar in their rig.  It was good to see everyone.

So far there are already two guest rigs in the park:  The Hendersons, who we have not met yet, and Ken Carpenter, who stopped by to say hello despite the dismal weather.  Tomorrow Spence will begin his vehicle inspections, and Carole and I will go do some pre-trip shopping to make sure we are well-supplied.

We are anxious for everyone to get here, get acquainted, and start having some FUN!
