Rain, rain, rain. Woke up to the pitter patter of little rain drops on the roof of our motorhome. Carole and I started out early this morning to get to the newest arrivals to welcome them and get their information to them. We met with Bruce and Roni Wilczynski, Ron and Jackie Turshinsky, Carl and Chris Findley, and Gilbert and Jenna Hall today. Everyone is anxious to get "on the road again."
The campground is filling up. Not only are all of our guests for the 58 day caravan already here, but many of the guests for the Northwest Territories are arriving as well.
We had two other couples who went on our 2008 Alaska Caravan arrive at the campground today. Susan and Bill Shallbetter, and Ronnie and Rebecca Poole. It was nice to see them again. Susan and Bill are going on the Northwest Territories while Ronnie and Rebecca are going back to Alaska this time on their own to revisit many of the places we saw in 2008.

In spite of the rain, which had actually stopped for a while, we had our social this afternoon inside. We were able to use the meeting room where we will have our orientation and welcome party tomorrow, which is the official start of "Rendezvous."
